Welcome to South Shore Ministries' Web Site. We are glad you have found us, and that you are taking the time to look us over. A church is much more than a bunch of people singing on Sunday morning.

As a matter of fact, a church is a bunch of wounded individuals looking for the heart of God. All of us have encountered some stumbling block in our search for who God is and whether He cares for us. At South Shore you are in good company with those who are battered by the storms of life.

We are a real church which is singing real music, dressing in real clothes, and offering real hospitality (come see). South Shore is a church which ministers to others, the community, and to each other in an ever increasing number of ways.

Most importantly, we offer Jesus Christ as the healer of our wounds and the only way to enter into our Father's heart. It is the same message that has ever been offered, and it can change you and your family's lives forever. Being relevant is being real; and you cannot know reality without knowing the One who knows you best (wordy, but true).

South Shore is dedicated to helping others more than helping ourselves. We have a building known as the South ShoreCenter which is to be utilized for those in need; however, its existence is not at the expense of being ready, willing, and able to care for all those that Christ cares for. Come look us over and stay for awhile if you like (we are not going anywhere).
